Since 2001, it has attracted the best dancers from all over the world, and over 30,000 have danced in Mikołajki. HISTORY
It all started in 2001 at the Gołębiewski Hotel in Mikołajki, where the best dancers from all over the world met for 16 years.
In the years 2017-2019, the Festival came to the OSSA Hotel, where, alongside the World Championships, it hosted dancers, primarily street dance.
The pandemic caused another change of venue, in the years 2020-2023 the festival's home became Raszyn, where special holiday categories were created. The festival has become an icon on the Polish map of dance competitions.
In 2024, we returned to our homeland, history has come full circle, and the 2024 edition turned out to be a spectacular organizational success.
We invite you to the next edition, which will take place on 11–14.12.2025 at the Gołębiewski Hotel in Mikołajki.
PARTICIPATION
REPORT '2024
By 25.11.2025 (Monday), competitors must be registered electronically via the danceit website. In categories played to their own music, the pieces must be sent along with the registration via the danceit.pl system.
Registrations, deletions, adding dancers or changes to the registration between 26.11 and 01.12.2025 will be accepted to the extent possible and after paying a handling fee of PLN 20 per person/category.
From 02.12.2025, only dancer deletions are possible. Registering a competitor/duo in a lower league than was assigned at the previous competition results in an additional fee of +20 PLN per person/category and transferring the presentation to the appropriate league.

By 25.11.2025, entry fees must be paid in the amount specified by the Board of the Polish Dance Federation, included in the table above. For dancers with a PFT license for 2025 (ATTENTION! We honor paid licenses for 2026!!!), you must also fill out the "PFT Dancers" form and send it by 06.12.2025. to e-mail: m.gawron@pft.org.pl to the PLN account:

JUDGES
The competition will be judged by a Judging Committee consisting of licensed PFT national judges and IDO judges. The organizer allows VIP judges to be invited. The categories will be judged in accordance with the regulations of the IDO and the Polish Dance Federation.

In MIKOŁAJKI special Christmas categories: Christmas PAI and Christmas Groups and Formations, as well as Christmas DISCO DANCE will look even better - you will not find such dance categories anywhere in the world, so prepare Christmas music and costumes that will bring us closer to the magic of Christmas on the dance floor. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- The club's coach decides on the level of advancement of a given competitor based on previous results and knowledge about their dancer. In order to avoid disqualification and skewing results, please correctly assign dancers to the level of advancement in a given category, especially the beginner group.
- The year of birth of a given competitor determines the age category.
- Each competitor may be a member of only one formation or group in a given category.
- In the event of a small number of entries, the organizer reserves the right to combine categories or cancel categories.
- In the case of a large number of applications, the order of applications will be the deciding factor.
- Dimensions of the dance floor 14 m x 12 m - ballet floor.
- When registering, you must have a copy of the entry fee payment.
- Competitors' insurance is the responsibility of the delegating party.
- Each club is required to have the required number of guardians, the Organizer does not provide care for the participants.
- The club, dancer has the right to withdraw from the competition at any stage. Withdrawal from the Tournament does not result in a refund of the entry fee.
- The organizer provides medical care during the competition.
- Changing rooms are publicly accessible, they are not locked or supervised, the organizer is not responsible for any items left in them.
- Each dancer is required to have an identity document that will allow the Chief Judge to check their date of birth.
- Each dancer is required to dance in shoes adapted for this purpose or barefoot.
- It is forbidden to use props and substances that may damage or dirty the floor.
- For any form of advertising, written consent from the organizer is required.
- The organizer reserves the right to combine skill level or age categories.
- During the Tournament, participants are required to strictly comply with health and safety and fire protection regulations.
- Participation in the Tournament is tantamount to expressing permanent and unconditional free consent to video and television recording of all presentations and to their use, publication and broadcast in any media by the organizers, as well as to the use of personal data in materials from the competition.
- Protests in written form only will be accepted up to 15 minutes after the end of a given competition and will be reviewed by the Head Judge and the Organizer after a deposit of PLN 200 has been paid. If the protest is rejected, the deposit will not be returned and will be forfeited to the Organizer.
- Each club receives special armbands for coaches and players, which entitle them to stay in the locker room and by the dance floor. Entry tickets for accompanying persons entitle them to sit in the audience, without the possibility of staying in the dancers' area.
- In the event of damage, the participant (group) who caused it is obliged to cover the costs of repairing the damage.
- Security and access control will be maintained by security staff on the premises.
